Since 2001, the Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique has
been running a program aimed at students of different
nationalities, having studied a minimum of two years in
industrial design or hypermedia.

This program allows foreign students to complete, for their
respective schools, an equivalent of 3rd year level studies
over one or two semesters. French students, who have
completed their first two study years elsewhere also have
the possibility to enrol (after successful completion of the
school’s entrance exams) and to afterwards continue in 4th
and 5th year.

Each academic year the “Classe Internationale”
(Product Design or Hypermedia) welcomes approximately
50 foreign students.

Most classes are held in French, the workshops are
conducted in English and French and a basic command of the
French language is strongly recommended.

All student exchanges are based on bilateral agreements
between partner institutions.
The Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique participates in the
European Community action programme SOCRATES/ERASMUS
and any prospective foreign student who are part of the
European community have to first contact the Erasmus
co-ordinator at his/her school of origin before mailing their
application materials.
